World Congress of Cardiology took place from 18th to 21st May 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the temporal “heart of the world”. Professionals from over 100 countries attended to this scientific highlight.
Bayer Schering Pharma (BSP) supported the international exchange of experiences and hosted a satellite symposium (read more…), a media event, a ‘Meet the Expert’ session and exhibition booth activities, providing educational support. In the focus with its benefits: Adalat®.
The media event not only encouraged journalists to attend the symposium, but an open interactive session with Professors Smith and Mancia allowed a number of the attendees to raise some very important points about how and when cardiovascular (CV) risk factors should be targeted.
This year’s BSP booth was one of the most popular in the exhibition hall – positioned at the entrance it attracted a constant stream of delegates who took part in a new electronic game called “BLOCKER” demonstrating how Adalat® can help to block the development of atherosclerosis.
