Berlin was the venue of this year’s International Society of Hypertension/European Society of Hypertension (ISH/ESH) joint congress, “Hypertension 2008”, providing an exciting opportunity to welcome physicians to the home of Bayer Schering Pharma (BSP) under the theme of ‘Your destination – our home’. The Hypertension 2008 took place from June 14th to 19th.
The congress provided an ideal scientific forum to discuss the pivotal role of calcium channel blockers such as Adalat® and angiotenson II receptor blockers like Telmisartan (Pritor®/Kinzal®) in combination therapies for the future management of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
Therefore the meeting played host for a single Adalat® symposium and a BSP interactive product exhibition booth rounded off by a press conference – all of which demonstrate BSP’s continued commitment to hypertension management.
