The annual Congress on Metabolic Syndrome, type II Diabetes and Atherosclerosis (MSDA) held its 6th international meeting in Berlin, Germany, in May 2009, and brought together experts in the fields of diabetes, atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
